As a convience Dublin Motorcycle Touring Club allow rally participants to pay the entry fees by credit card via PayPal. Because we run our events for fun and on a break-even basis, we are obliged to charge a fee of 4% to cover Merchant Fees. Everyone paying by credit card on the internet pays these fees, often hidden in the price. The cost of buying Euro currency, an Irish Euro draft or taking a 30-day interest-free loan on your card might justify the cost, especially if you don't have a cheque book or need time off-work to buy a post office draft, envelope and stamp. The cheapest way to pay is still by personal Euro cheque drawn on an Irish bank drawn f/o "DMTC Ltd" and posted to Kay.
