Welcome to the web site of Dublin Motorcycle Touring Club (DMTC). The Club, formed in 1971 by Dublin motorcyclists with a love of touring, holds frequent meetings, runs, weekends and tours, home and abroad, and organises the summer Riders Rally and the autumn Way West Rally in Ireland. Members have toured widely and regularly attend FIM Touring & Track events across Europe.
The Club first attended the FIM Rally in Maastricht, Holland in '79, and the rally has become a regular continental date for club members. In 2011 we celebrated 40 years doing what we love 'riding the roads and meeting people'

A reminder to members that the AGM of DMTC will take place at 8pm on Monday 23rd January 2012. Members have been advised by post.
An event strictly for club members will be a weekend run to Scotland with self-catering accommodation probably near 13th April 2012
Entry forms are available to 67 FIM Rally 2012 in Bydgoszcz, Poland to be held from 19 to 21.07.2012. Closing date for Irish entries will be 16.03.2012. Read more.
The FIM Touring events are a good introduction to continental touring. They follow a set pattern of 3 day/4 night (usually Tue night, Wed, Thur & Friday or Saturday) with entertainment, local tours, food and camping/accommodation. Great to network with motorcyclists from up to 30 nationalities. Part of the fun is the ride to and from the venue. These are two events club members regularly support.

8.07.2011: Rooters MCC narrowly beat DMTC for the National Inter-Clubs Prize at the 2011 FIM Rally in Tulln, Austria. Sweden won the event with almost 300 participants on 230 bikes; Touring Finlandia, Helsinki won largest Club with 71 on 52 bikes. Long Distance went to the 5 bikes (7 Riders) from Saudi Arabia who each traveled 5,500 kms. Next years event is organised on 19-21 July in Bydgoszcz, (near Torun) Poland by LKTWG.
12.6.2011: 14 club members joined the MCUI Team camping at the FIM Motocamp in Glastonbury, a lot of fun, friends, food & road riding, winning the Irish club prize. Photos below of the Motocamp site Photos
