06.01.10: Dates for your diary: Two clashing dates: 1. Diagnosed with cancer just over 3 years ago Eddie Laycock, Ireland’s great road racing motorcyclist, had his left leg amputated during Christmas week in St Vincent’s Hospital, Merrion, Co Dublin. To assist Eddie and his family with this major change in his life a Special Valentines Evening will take place at the Citywest Hotel on Saturday, February 13th next. 5.9.09: Having worked for the past 50 years as a barman in The Gresham Hotel, John Gallagher retires on 3rd Sept. He is a founder member of the Dublin Motorcycling Touring Club since its foundation in 1971. All his friends wish him well in his retirement. Jim has written a short bio. Read it here.
