12.08.10: Hi all, We had 112 Riders on Rally with 6 Pillions; Largest Club - Lupin MCC, Co. Down; Farthest Travelled - Bobby Sorenson & Jette Frederikson, Denmark; Smallest Bike - Liam Stapleton's; Oldest Bike - Sean Carroll's; Youngest Rider - Oisin Breathnach; Hard Luck - Myles Sheehy. Eamonn Waldron Memorial Trophy - 3 were presented ths year by Nessa to Eric Morton, Billy Redmond & Liam Stapleton to mark their achievement on riding the whole Rally on 50cc scooters to raise funds for the Cullen Kennedy Charity.
Here's a report on a 2-week 5000km Russian roadtrip to Georgia last April that intrigued me - "12-midnight, snow, ice around, and we're somewhere at an altitude of 2200m stuck in the middle of a 400 meter-tunnel, to go on is equivalent to madness"; guys, girls & Harleys.
